HUMAN RESOURCES/ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE Salary: $20 - $22 per hr.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason. Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities. Employee files update. Computes wages and records data for use in payroll processing. Compiles and maintains records for use in employee benefits administration. Prepares and files reports of accidents and injuries at establishment. Prepares and mails invoice copies for all customers, invoicing and government forms. Processes daily credit card deposits. Prepares all Packing list, Airbills, Export forms, GBL’s, and UPS documentation and contacts for pickup. Research and processes customer claims of invoice payment. Research and processes charge backs, returns, bad checks, and credit references. Maintains customer database in main ERP system. Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries, tax exempt certificates and follow-up. Calls and/or emails to customers in order to/expedite A/R payments and update accounts. Assists with accounts payable, period end closings, Assist accounting dept as needed with duties and period end closing Qualifications: Education and/or Experience Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of accounting software. Human Resource systems; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. Cross training within the Financial/HR Dept. will be achieved.
