Assistant Town Treasurer/Collector Vacancy
The Town of Clinton is seeking to employ a qualified person to fill the position of Assistant Town Treasurer/Collector. This post is full-time (35 hours/week) at a starting salary of $45,053.82 plus benefits.
Some duties and responsibilities include payroll preparation and benefits coordination for municipal employees, reporting revenue, taxes and payroll deductions, receive and processing tax payments and reconciliation of daily balances. Knowledge of standard word processing, spreadsheet and database applications required. Excellent communications and customer service skills, both verbal and written are essential. Provides Treasurer-Collector with support as may be required to fulfill department obligations. An Associates degree in Finance or Accounting preferred or combination of education and experience in a municipal financial setting in a supervisory position.
