Senior Staff Accountant

The Diocese of Winona-Rochester is currently accepting resumes for several opportunities at our Pastoral Center in Winona, MN. These positions will be based out of Rochester, MN once construction of a new Pastoral Center is completed in 2024. All positions require candidates be effective communicators, collaborative, adaptable to change and effective at interfacing with a diverse group of internal and external customers. Positions and hiring specifications are as follows:

Senior Staff Accountant

Reporting directly to the CFO/COO and indirectly to the Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation of Southern Minnesota ("Foundation"), this position works primarily with other diocesan accounting staff in support of the Foundation. Duties include performing daily financial transactions and the development of monthly and annual financial reports. Typically, applicants have a Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public, corporate and not-for-profit fund accounting.

Barron, the Diocese of Winona-Rochester serves the 20 southernmost counties of the State of Minnesota - bordered by the Mississippi River to the east and South Dakota to the west. The Diocese is home to 99 parishes, four high schools, 30 elementary schools and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary on the campus of St. Mary's University in Winona.
