Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic perspective to our accounting processes, providing insights and oversight to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. While construction industry experience is a valuable asset, we are primarily interested in a candidate’s ability to adapt and contribute to our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews.
Liaise with external auditors and tax accountants for annual audits and tax preparation.
Optimize accounting processes for efficiency and reliability.
Financial reporting and analysis for decision-making support.
Experience with job costing and progress billing preferred.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth.

Qualifications:

Active CPA license required.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a CPA; experience in the construction industry is a plus.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and industry regulations.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
