JOB OPENING: Marketing Specialist
Job Summary: Keystone Symposia seeks an experienced marketing specialist to help create and implement strategic campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement and registrations to our face-to-face meetings as well as other core initiatives. The Marketing Specialist will be analytics-driven and have demonstrable experience in effectively leveraging and integrating traditional and modern marketing strategies, processes, and technologies. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners. The Marketing Specialist is a member of the Communications Group and reports to the Senior Director of Communications. Working in our Silverthorne office at least 2 days/week is required.
Major Responsibilities include: • Design and oversee all aspects of our marketing practice including our marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns. • Measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) • Experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Email Delivery Platforms, Marketing Automation Systems and CRM software • Producing content and managing the email marketing campaign process for our conferences, digital events and other initiatives • Actively managing social media channels, campaigns and corresponding budgets • Communicating proactively to all levels of management and all stakeholders on key campaign initiatives • Delivering regular reports, insights and trends • Working closely with The Communications Group to develop consistent brand awareness of Keystone Symposia • Main contact for all marketing activities for all in-person meetings • Keeping current with life science industry developments, digital marketing trends as well actively provide competitive analysis • Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate is positive, customer-centric individual with a sincere commitment to working collaboratively with all constituent groups and across internal departments and producing quality work product. Moreover, the candidate: • is detailed-oriented and committed to producing quality work • is process-driven creative technologist who enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives • adapts well and appropriately to changing processes, demands as dictated by marketing results, new systems, and organizational priorities • is results-driven with experience identifying target audiences, developing, and executing marketing campaigns to engage, inform and convert specific groups
Qualifications: Qualified candidates will offer a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred, with 5-7 years of marketing experience desired, working with multi-channel campaigns, platforms, and campaign analytics. Experience at a PR agency and/or non-profit and experience in the life-science industry are a plus. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite products is preferred. Working knowledge of website analytic tools, A/B Testing Process, HTML, CSS and JavaScript are a plus.
Compensation: The salary range starts at $53,000/year, and will based on marketing experience and qualifications. In addition, the Keystone Symposia offers an excellent benefits package. Working in our Silverthorne office at least 2 days/week is required.
