Finance Director
Madison County BOC is seeking a Finance Director to lead our county as we grow.
The Finance Director is responsible for directing all financial operations, including budgeting, communicating and planning with department heads, overseeing accounts payable, banking relationships, preparing monthly financial reporting, journal entries and reconciliations.
Georgia CPA preferred. Knowledge of the principles and practices of governmental accounting preferred. Must be knowledgeable in financial computer software and excel. Must possess ability to resolve problems and make independent decisions and have experience in gathering and analyzing complex data, and operating standard office equipment.

Annual salary is $70,000.
