Senior Designer

Nissan North America, Inc., San Diego, CA. Senior Designer (multiple openings). Primary function is design development of two-dimensional representations of future Nissan & Infiniti products then interfacing w/all functions of design process to guide creation of req’d 3D digital & physical models for internal proposals. Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or rltd Art field & 5 yrs of design exp. in an automotive design studio. Exp. must include: (i) Excellent manual drawing ability, creativity, generation of new, unique & usable design ideas, supported by portfolio submission evidencing original designs. (ii) Successful demonstration of collaborative teamwork & project mgmnt skills. (iii) Working w/ production automotive programs & working w/ engineers. (iv) Advanced level of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Autodesk Alias, Sub D, VRED, &VR Tools.
