Staff Accountant

Neal, Scouten & McConnell, P.C., a Chattanooga Tennessee CPA Firm, has an immediate opening for an entry-level Staff Accountant. A CPA license is not required.

Who We Are: We are a full-service accounting firm, providing services to a wide variety of clients.  For 28 years now, we have been servicing our clients professionally in Tax, Audit, Consulting and Business Accounting.  Our Firm is located in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee.    

Job Overview: This entry-level position is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, as a 40-hour work week. It is primarily for audit, but some tax preparation when needed.  Must be able to work independently, as well as a member of the audit team, and meet deadlines.  The applicant needs to be proficient in Excel and Word. A CPA license is not required.

Compensation:  This is an hourly, full-time position.  Pay will be based on experience.
