Payroll Administrator - Construction
We are a New Orleans based glass company seeking a full-time Payroll Administrator to join our team. You will perform clerical, administrative and all aspects of the payroll process. Duties include but are not limited to answering and transferring phone calls, checking time sheets for accuracy, entering data into databases and spreadsheets, handling direct deposit requests and data, processing wage garnishments, adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses and commissions, certified payroll reporting, payroll tax payments, union fringe reporting, workman's compensation reporting and claims and light accounts payables.
Candidate must:
- Be organized, pay attention to detail and self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
- Neat and professional appearance
- Must have reliable transportation
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years relevant experience
