Job Duties

 

  • Manages the weekly payment request and disbursement process for subgrantees Coordinates with the internal systems database staff around subgrantee payment requests. Develops and keeps the sub grant compliance program in conformity with the Uniform Guidance to ensure effective sub grantee monitoring and risk assessment processes. Prepares Federal and grant-specific financial reports. Ability to interpret and navigate a variety of award documents (both Federal & Pass-Through), with differing conditions and regulations for correct application of conditions and regulations. Manages the risk assessment and monitoring program in conformity with the Uniform Guidance. Performs on-site sub grantee monitoring visits (travel required) and desk audits to ensure subgrantee compliance with grant regulations, and super circular requirements, assess systems, and processes for compliance and requirements. Prepares desk audit and site visit findings reports to recommend corrective actions and follow up to ensure corrective actions have been implemented. Recommends and implements changes and updates to internal procedures and practices to ensure compliance with Federal regulations. Communicates with program and grants team around sub grantee monitoring/compliance concerns and recommends actions necessary to resolve concerns. Aids in month-end close and monthly internal reporting. Aids in year-end audit preparation, Assists in USCCB monitoring visits performed by granting agencies.
