Accounting Faculty Member

The University of Jamestown is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach in the accounting program in the department of Business, Accounting, and Economics. We are searching for candidates who are student-oriented and who have a passion for teaching. The position is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2023.

Minimum requirements:
* Master's degree in accounting or business administration.
* Candidate must hold the CPA credential.

Preferred requirements:
* Terminal degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
* Additional professional designations (CMA, CIA).
* Teaching experience at the higher education level.
* Significant professional experience in public or managerial accounting.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include on-campus teaching of various accounting courses, depending on departmental needs and faculty interest and expertise. Courses include, but are not limited to:
* Principles of Accounting
* Income Tax Accounting
* Intermediate Accounting
* Cost/Managerial Accounting
* Government/Not-for-profit Accounting
* Business Law
* Auditing
* Advanced Accounting

The successful candidate will typically teach 12 credit hours per semester, be an advisor for undergraduate students, serve on a university committee, and conduct scholarly activity.
